Print Distribution is Back!

The original print run for Altar of Freedom was done in full color, distributed by Iron Ivan Games back when the rules were released in 2013. We quickly sold out of the first run and not long after, the company Iron Ivan Games was itself sold. I switched over to black and white copies fulfilled via Lulu print on demand ever since that time.

Since March 2020, Lulu has experienced many ordering and website issues. I decided to go back to a brick-and-mortar distributor who can fulfill orders around the world AND return Altar of Freedom back to its original full color printing. I'm very happy to announce that On Military Matters now carries the rules! They are a well established publisher, and this move will ensure Altar of Freedom can be purchased by customers around the world, without any fulfillment delays.

I only recently picked up a copy of AoF and I am very psyched! I have gotten into 3D printing and I am designing a 6mm (-ish) army to field and play grand tactical ACW battles. AoF is EXACTLY the kind of rules I was hoping for!

I recently moved from the UK to the Netherlands and in the process Altar of Freedom went AWOL, then I saw that the rules had been re-released in colour, so ordered a copy. They arrived today and look eceptionally good. Gradually sorting all my wargames stuff out so that I can stare giving these games a go again.

Hello,
Dave would you be making of selling your STL files of ACW figures. I would be interested in them. I do not have a printer but a person I know does have a few.
Best regard,
Jean

I have the black and white version already but would like to order a copy in color. Looks as though this new site has the same issues. I click on the link to buy and there’s nothing there.

Following up, this was resolved today and all good to go. Just so happens they were updating their server last night and nothing was working temporarily. But I got a call from them this morning explaining and just placed my order. Turned out to be excellent customer service.
