We have a brand new battle report available on the "After Action" page of the site. This is the Battle of Chattanooga, fought in late November 1864! Check out our photo-packed AAR and see if Grant was able to score another crushing victory, as he did historically. Or perhaps Bragg will be able to hold the heights of Missionary Ridge and Lookout Mountain to survive? View Battle Report! |

I loved the Chantanooga AAR. But the real reason I'm writing is that I noticed in the last frame of the report, hanging above the heads of the two English gentemen is a Yosegaki Hinomaru. I'm one of two archivists with the Obon Society, which is dedicated to returning the Yosegaki to the families in Japan. If you are curious and want more information on what we do, click on http://obonsociety.org and see what we do. You can also go on to Youtube and search for Obon Society and you will find a couple of videos. I believe we do good work, healing the old wounds one flag at a time. Thanks for letting me ramble! Sincerely, Lloyd

Great looking game, and as I went through it I thought that there were some faces I didn’t recognise from Little Wars TV. As a Briton myself I would be fascinated to know where in the UK they were from and which clubs they are associated with. Currently painting up more 3mm figures to have a go at the Corinth scenario.

Just gone back to Chattanooga in the AAR section of the website and found it lodged among the 1864 battles, but it actually took place in 1863, after which Grant was transferred to the east to take overall command of the union armies in all theatres and Sherman took command of the armies in the west.

Outstanding report. I am curious - can you tell me what miniatures are used for the Union troops on this report: https://www.6mmacw.com/antietam-aar.html ? I've been laboring over H&R figures and they don't look anywhere near this good...

I understand all the figures used are Baccus 6mm.
