To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Atlanta campaign, we'll be running the entire Battle of Peachtree Creek at the 2014 Fall In convention. If you're planning to be at this year's convention, registration begins in two weeks, and we have four slots available for this scenario. Every Altar of Freedom game we've run the past three years has been fully booked in pre-registration before the convention, so sign up and join us! And if you're not able to attend Fall In at Lancaster, Pennsylvania, just wait until a couple days afterward and we'll have a full recap of the entire game available on the AAR page, packed with photos and maps.

For those interested, our local gaming club is also running a Hammerin' Iron riverine ironclad scenario on Friday evening at Fall In. It's a very fun "beer & pretzels" game and we'll have four more slots for that game, as well. A full description of the Peachtree Creek scenario appears after the break....

Date: Saturday, November 8, 2014

Event Title: Peachtree Creek

Rules: Altar of Freedom; 6mm scale

Players: 4

Event Description: Just two days after assuming command, John B Hood delivers a fierce counter-attack to isolate half of Sherman's army. Can Hood's troops overcome the rough terrain, dwindling daylight, and confused command structure to deliver a knock-out blow? Right the most famous action of the Atlanta Campaign on the 150th anniversary on a gorgeous 6mm tabletop, where fog of war rules may leave you stumbling through Georgia's tangled forests. Rules taught; no players under 16 please.

Event Duration: 3 hours

Really looking forward to the AAR. The Atlanta Campaign has always fascinated me.

Took a look at the AAR for Peachtree Creek. It looked very impressive, and remarkable for a 4'x4' table.

Would recommend the Battle of Nashville photos on the Baccus Website forum in the gallery section. A truly stunning Altar of Freedom game.
